You guys know the story: Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent, a young journalist who was born Kal-El: a survivor of the fallen alien planet Krypton, transported to Earth by his parents Jor-El (Russell Crowe) and Lara Lor-Van (Ayelet Zurer). Small-town farmers Jonathan (Kevin Costner) and Martha Kent (Diane Lane) raise Kal-El as their son, imbuing him with a strong sense of integrity and compassion so that he learns to use his extraordinary powers responsibly – even in a troubled world that views him as a threat, rather than a potential savior.
This is teaser shown during the previews of The Dark Knight Rises. While a teaser is just that, a tease, The Dark Knight Rises was one of the most anticipated films of the last few years and holding such a grand stage, DC could have provided a better teaser for their next big motion picture. I just remember my reaction to the first The Dark Knight Rises teaser and it was no where near that for Man of Steel. These two teasers are the same, but have different dialouge spoken from both of Clark’s fathers: one from Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner) and the other from Jor-El (Russell Crowe).
What do you think of the teaser? Which version do you prefer?
